Web-Based Marketing Part 1

Web-Based Marketing Part 1

You can do a lot of things with Web-based marketing, like get more referrals for your paid program, or you can try to get people to join a GPT website by writing a review about it, but It has come to my attention that not many people know how to properly do Web-Based Marketing. So I have decided to write about Web based marketing and how to improve it.

While I was browsing Google through forums, I stumbled across Digital Point, it is there where I learned most of the things that I now Know about online marketing and I have decided to share all of that with you, so you can be successful as well, you may call me a hypocrite because my blog is not big and famous just yet, but everything I write I have learned from very successful people at online forums.

I am going to start by teaching you the basics. The internet is full of ads, there are ads on almost every web page that you go to, whether it’s Myspace, CNN, or YouTube ads are everywhere!

Ads are paid by people that want to sell something or just want people to view something in their web page. There are many reasons as to why a person buys ads.

There aren’t any set prices for ads, unless you talk directly to the publisher of the place where you want the ads to appear. Most of the time people just buy ads from a big company like Google or Yahoo, That is the way Most search engines like Google make their money.

When you search something in Google have you seen the links in the right side? Well those are “AdWords” that people paid for. When you search for something you search for a keyword, for example the word ‘money’, as you can see there is a section in the right where it says “Sponsored Links” That is the place where Google puts the links to web pages that have paid for that keyword, in this case the keyword it’s the word “Money”

Google is not the only search engine that allows you to pay to be in their sponsored links, Yahoo and Microsoft’s live search also use Keywords as well as Ask.com and several other search engines.

Well now that you know this, you might be thinking… I don’t want to spend money buying ads! Is there something else I can do? And the answer to that is yes, and I will go into further detail on the next “Web-based Marketing Part-2” which will published this weekend.
